both sheet, plate and rod. Nylon 66 combines higher mechanical strength,
stiffness, heat and wear resistance properties than extruded nylon 6. Nylon
66 has better creep resistance but its impact strength and mechanical
damping ability is reduced. Nylon 66 has good sliding properties and high
abrasion resistant.
Common uses for Nylon 66
Resistant to many oils, diesel, petrol and grease makes Nylon 66 ideal
for the automotive and mechanical engineering applications. Examples include
